Boy Scout Summer Camp

Located in the mountains of New York State Scout Camp Henderson is a gem. With its heavily wooded mature forest, thriving wildlife, steams and lake, great program facilities and a mature staff this is the place to spend summer camp with your unit.

A Great Summer Camp

Each summer, nearly 1000 scouts attend week-long resident summer camp at Henderson. Troops stay in one of a dozen permanent campsites, utilizing the camp's two-man tents, including cots and mattresses. There is also a picnic table and dining fly for each patrol.

Henderson offers many opportunities for advancement in our program areas: nature-conservation, aquatics, scout craft skills, field sports, fishing, and handicrafts. Each area is under the supervision of a full-time adult staff member.
