Summer Camp Meals
Scout in Dining Hall

Our camp menu is one of the best that Boy Scout camps can offer. Approved by a Registered Dietitian it is one of the great reasons to come to camp. If you have any food restrictions please read our special needs page.
Campers deserve to eat delicious and nutritious meals while at Camp Henderson. All food at Camp Henderson is prepared under strict guidelines using generally accepted food service industry practices.
With prior notice, our staff can accommodate special needs diets for campers with dietary restrictions. Our kitchen operates in compliance with established regulations of the New York state Health Department. Inspections are conducted annually. Health inspection documents are posted in the Dining Hall for review.
If you have any questions or concerns about food service matters, please contact the Camp Director at the Otschodela Council office.

Snack in Camp Sites
Dear Unit Leader:
Once again this year we are asking that boys do not bring snacks of any sort (except diabetics) to camp. Our local wildlife disperses for the summer and we wish to leave them out in the woods rather than in our campsites. Many Units have made this a troop policy for years. Snacks will be available at the camp store, to be consumed only at the store or in the dining hall. This is to minimize our smell-able print on camp. Our wonderful cook is back again so food is great and plentiful, so we will certainly have enough to eat at camp. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
